While returning from a trip several weeks agone, my married woman and I took a spur-of-the-moment side trip to the Abbey of Our Lady of New Clairvaux. It'southward a Trappist monastery in Vina, California we had stumbled across 15 years earlier.
While archeologists have thousands of years of history nigh who had previously used the state, specific to the monastery, it started in the mid-1800s with a land grant leading to construction of the world's largest winery. The abbey came onto the state in 1955.

Taken from a 12th Century monastery in Kingdom of spain, 10,000 stones each with a mark identifying the detail stone stonemason who carved that cake were painstakingly dismantled, and in 1930 wound up abandoned in San Francisco's Gilt Gate Park.

Our teachable moment is that equally we make our way to the post-pandemic church, with its shape and grade built on the pre-pandemic church, it volition look a lot like the pre-pandemic church, all the same we must remain alert to coming together post-pandemic needs.
And as the church'southward purpose ever has been, always is, and always will exist to create a holy dwelling place for our loving God, we practice this with Jesus Christ as the church's cornerstone.
